Let's face it, not all suppliers can be relied upon to keep a real-time inventory available for booking up to date. The development team has been hard at work finding a solution to allow for an automated manual confirmation process for suppliers who choose the manual confirmation status for their current inventory.
Soon to be released as a new feature in the DMO Edition of OpenResort, suppliers will have the option to set availability to use the manual confirmation process.
When an inventory item is booked and has any days set to manual confirmation will generate an e-mail to the supplier(s) notifying them to login to their account and confirm or deny the booking request. Site administrators are notified of booking status changes throughout the process.
Also included in the latest release of all editions is the automated confirmation process which processes transactions automatically for those inventory items that are setup that way
