Hi - I am looking for a Drupal based system that I can use as a Golf Lessons booking system. I stumbled across Open Resort and wondered if it was up to the job. I'm looking for a system whereby a user can see the availability of time on one of 5 indoor golf simulators, book an hour, or two, or more of time on the simulator, pay for the time they've booked (credit card/paypal), the system to remove the availability of this time from the system. The user could also book multiple times and multiple days too. If any one has a lot of experience in using Open Resort can they advise me if this is a system I could use to do the above. I am looking for something similar - I want to be able to provide a hire service either by the hour or by the day. Some of OpenResort features seem to fit well with this e.g. > Create content > Business > Accommodation - then checking the 'Enable advanced inventory management' option - and then doing something with the Units available calendar. This can help with planning days available but doesn't give a solution to the hours available - I don't think - but I have only just started to explore OpenResort. There may be an hours option with the Arrivals/ Departure times block - perhaps someone could advise us?
Also the whole thing looks and feels better by changing the wording of items using the Drupal locale module - see http://drupal.org/node/24593. I have changed words like 'Accommodation' to 'Service' and 'Business' to 'Hire products name' and other terms like 'Arrival time' and 'Departure time' to 'Start/ Finish times etc. Hope this makes sense.
Can anyone else give some guidance on using OpenResort in this way - Basically using OpenResort features but for other booking purposes e.g. booking/ availability of services etc as opposed to rooms?
