Setup problems

Thank you for developing a reservations module - a godsend!

I am building a Drupal site for a client. The client has two hostels, with each hostel containing many rooms (units?) with varying features (single, double, share, etc.). They want a calendar to show what rooms are available and when, plus a booking button to book a room. All features available in Openresort, I believe.

I am having trouble understanding the manner in which to setup a number of units within a hostel. I have created a business type and when I click the 'edit' tab, I am not given the option of adding Units. When I attempt to create a new Unit node, I receive a message "Sorry you can only add units from a property". How do you add a unit to a property?

Also, I don't understand the relevance (if any) of Workflow. Am I missing the point here?

Sorry for the lame questions, but I just don't know where to get started and the documentation is difficult to follow when things the documentation refer to are missing on my pages. I have read every post on the forums and combed through Drupal.org for answers.

Hope you can get me on my way - I really want to utilize this great module.
