Hi! I love the open resort package, well done. I really like the business directory and in fact wondering if I can just use this portion of open resort? If so, how would I do this and is it fairly straight forward?

Many thanks,
Ryan

Many thanks Marc! I managed to install and configure in a couple hours. Keeping in mind I am a new fish when it comes to drupal, I'm very impressed!

I downloaded the newest openresort tar ball (openresort-5.3.1.0.tar.gz) and decompressed to my local drive, then simply copied over just the open resort module to my drupal / modules directory. I was able to see the Business Module dependencies that helped me locate and copy over the needed additional modules under Administer / Site Building / Modules. Of course you know all this but someone else might find it useful.

I'm going to spend some time creating new Business Types and customizing the layout to suite my site style, but it's going very well so far.

Best of success with your openresort! I will be recommending it to my clients.

Cheers,
Ryan

Yes you can. If you want to use just the business directory you only need to enable the business module in the openresort suite. Then in the vocabularies you need to set up the structure for your business directory under the buisness directory taxonomy that has been created.

www.ourfernie.com shows a good example of the business directory in use. Only those properties which are blockable use the rest of the openresort suite.

If you have any more questions I'll be glad to help.

Marc
